Updating the firmware

Before updating the firmware, if any other devices are connected by Bluetooth to the computer you are using, disconnect them all. In addition, if any applications are running, quit them all.

1. Turn the MS-100BT on and connect it with the computer by Bluetooth.

2. Double-click the “ZOOM MS-100BT System v1.30 Updater” icon for the firmware updating application to launch it.

3. Click the “COMPort” field and select the correct port from the list.

The correct port depends on the Bluetooth adapter. Check, for example, the “Ports (COM & LPT)” in “Device Manager” or “Bluetooth Settings” to confirm the correct selection.

4. Click the Execute button to start the firmware update.

A progress bar shows the status of the firmware update. The firmware update execution screen appears on the MS-100BT display. Do not interrupt the power to the MS-100BT while the firmware is being updated.

Applying a newer firmware version than the one already installed on your unit can bring various enhancements, include workarounds for diverse problems encountered by the device, and improve or add newly developed features.
