Updating the firmware

1. Connect the UAC-8 and the Mac using a USB cable. Then, turn the UAC-8 power on.

2. Double-click the firmware update application icon to launch it. After launching, a window that looks like this appears.

3. In both the “Input Device” and “Output Device” fields, click the field to open a list of MIDI devices and select “UAC-8 ZOOM UAC-8 Reserved Port”. If nothing is shown in the fields, click [Rescan Device] button.

4. Click the [Version Check] button to check the firmware version. * If the MAIN version is 1.10 or higher, you do not need to use this application to update the firmware. If the system version is lower than 1.10, follow the procedures below to update the firmware.

5. Click the [Execute] button to start the firmware update. The progress of the firmware update appears as a bar like this.

Do not disconnect the USB cable while the firmware is being updated.

6. When the firmware update completes, it will appear as follows.

Click the [OK] button and [Exit] button to close the firmware update application. Then, turn the UAC-8 power off.

7. Turn the UAC-8 power on again, and confirm that the firmware versions are as follows:

MAINпјљ v1.10

UPDATERпјљ v1.00

DSPпјљ v1.00

CPLDпјљ v1.00

This completes the firmware update.

About Device Firmware:
