New features:

- Edge storage recording robustness is improved with an automatic database repair feature.
- SNMP MIB r/w OID values are saved after reboot.
- Secure FTP (SFTP) is now supported for a more secure file transfer method.
- Edge Storage robustness is improved with features to detect and repair faults due to unexpected loss of storage media.
- Storage limit offers a possibility to control how much storage space may be used for recordings. This is available via VAPIX.
- Axis network cameras now support NAS drives over 2TB.
- AXIS Video Motion Detection 3, which includes Axis False Alarm Filtering, is now a pre-installed ACAP application and replaces the built-in Motion Detection in the product Web GUI. The built-in Motion Detection is still available via VAPIX. Axis strongly recommends current users of the Motion Detection API to plan for transfer to the AXIS Video Motion Detection 3 API, please see the VAPIX Library.
- Available ONVIF Media Profiles are now presented and configurable using the product Web GUI.
- With SD card Encryption it is now possible to enable encryption of the SD card to protect your data. This encryption is transparent to users and VMS solutions making it possible to activate without adaptations. This feature is presented and configurable both in the Web GUI and via VAPIX.
- Improved start-up time.
- Removed predefined stream profiles: Quality, HDTV, Balanced, Bandwidth, Mobile.
- Upgrade OpenSSL to version 1.0.2d. This version also provides support for TLS 1.2.
- The API Event Handling 1.10 is being removed from this release. If events have been previously added with this api, they need to be converted using the convert button in the Action Rules web page _before_ upgrading to 6.10. Failing to do this will result in all event configurations being lost.
- Max exposure time parameter is now available in the Camera Settings. It can be used in LPR installations when setting Max exposure time shorter than default Max shutter time.

Corrections

:
- It is now possible to a select starting point when playing back a recording while using multicast and H.264.
- When DST is enabled, export recordings can now be done via web interface.
- Reduced audio noise levels from internal microphone.
- PullMessages now follow the ONVIF specification 9.1.2.
- Rule is now triggered on start event/signal raise and not on condition.
- Users with admin permissions can edit ACAP configuration settings.
- Rectified pulsing of the image in very bright environment.
- Improved Privacy mask alignment.
- Manual triggers for all enabled View Areas are shown.
- Improved synchronization between sound and video when having low fps and long GOV length.
- Fixed issue with image switching between black/white and color mode.
- Corrected H264 payloader behaviour to now insert PPS/SPS frames before every I-frame. This will improve behaviour, especially with Genetec clients that uses multicast.
