Important Notices:

- Firmware Downgrade is Unavailable for the Balance One: Please note that once 6.3.1 is installed on the Balance One, it will not be possible to downgrade. Dual-boot with older Firmware will still function, but each Firmware slot will not accept earlier Firmwares once it contains 6.3.1.
- Upgrade APs to AP Firmware 3.5.2 or Later Before Upgrading Balance and MAX devices to 6.2.1 or above: When running Balance and MAX Firmware 6.2.1 or above, Peplink routers will be unable to upgrade APs running 3.5.0 or below using upgrade packs. If you are using a Peplink router to manage APs running 3.5.0 or below, please upgrade APs to Firmware 3.5.2 or later before upgrading your Peplink router.
- Model Retirement: Please note that the following models will be retired and will not be supported by Firmware 6.3.0 onwards: Balance 380 Hardware Revision 1, Balance 380 Hardware Revision 2, Balance 700. To find the hardware revision of your Balance, please navigate to Status > Device.

Resolved Issues:

VLAN:
- When disabling a LAN port that has been assigned to a specific VLAN, the port will only return to the untagged VLAN instead of being disabled.
- Compatible with Surf SOHO HW2

Firewall:
- Firewall rules are unable to function when they are used with configuration scheduling.
- Compatible with All Balance / MediaFast / MAX models
- Compatible with Surf SOHO

InControl:
- When a router is connected using a USB modem, the connection will appear to fluctuate in InControl 2 despite it actually being stable.
- Compatible with All Balance / MediaFast / MAX models

SpeedFusion:
- The SpeedFusion Tx statistics reported by the Web UI are inconsistent.
- Compatible with Balance One, 210, 310, 305, 380, 580, 710, 1350, 2500
- Compatible with MAX 700, Transit, HD2, HD2 Mini, HD2 IP67, HD4
- Compatible with MediaFast HD2, HD4, 200, 500, 750

PepVPN:
- When Layer 2 PepVPN connects or disconnects, the LAN MAC address may change.
- Compatible with All Balance / MediaFast / MAX models
- Compatible with Surf SOHO

AP Controller:
- The AP Controller is unable to save AP Firmware packs (for uploading onto APs).
- Compatible with All Balance Models
- Compatible with MAX 700, HD2, HD2 Mini, HD2 IP67, Transit, HD4
- Compatible with MediaFast 200, 500, HD2, HD4

PepVPN:
- When attempting to perform failover between two links within a PepVPN connection, data will not pass through the second link.

WAN Port:
- A WAN connection will show as "No Cable Detected" even when a functioning network cable is plugged-in.
- Compatible with Surf SOHO HW2

Cellular:
- Upon startup, a cellular WAN occasionally do not connect.
- Compatible with Balance 30 LTE
- Compatible with MAX All models except the 700 and OTG
- Compatible with MediaFast HD2, HD4

LAN Ports:
- The LAN switch will reset every time changes are applied to the router.
- Compatible with All Balance / MediaFast / MAX models
- Compatible with Surf SOHO

Web Blocking:
- Web blocking category configurations do not apply after a reboot.
- Compatible with Balance One, 210, 310, 305, 380, 580, 710, 1350, 2500

USB WAN:
- The USB modem is unable to connect on the Balance 580 HW1.
- Compatible with Balance 580 HW1

Known Issues:

PepVPN:
- PepVPN chart inaccurately shows packet loss if encryption is enabled.
- Affects Balance 2500
- Affects MAX HD4
- Affects MediaFast HD4

Captive Portal:
- Captive Portal will not redirect if the DNS proxy has been disabled.
- Affects All Balance / MediaFast models
- Affects MAX BR1, BR2, 700, HD2, HD4

PepVPN:
- When using iTunes or Remote to Airplay to an AppleTV over PepVPN, Bonjour Forwarding does not function.
- Affects All Balance / MediaFast / MAX models

L2TP with IPSec:
- If multiple Windows clients are set up behind the same NAT router, they may not be able to establish L2TP/IPsec connections concurrently.

- SpeedFusion WAN Smoothing does not function as well if QoS is enabled.
